Driving Progress in Healthcare Equity: Shaping Perspectives and Inspiring Compassion
It shouldn’t have to happen to you for it to matter to you
Who we are
For 10 years, the CDOT Foundation has been committed to advancing health equity by eliminating inequality and protecting the dignity of vulnerable populations through engagement, education and empowerment.
Our overarching mission is driven by these principles:
ABOUT US
At CDOT Foundation, we embrace a dual approach to advancing health equity. Through strategic partnerships, we lead or support the implementation of community-based health equity solutions, recognizing the critical role of collaboration in driving impactful initiatives.
Simultaneously, we offer comprehensive client services tailored to meet diverse needs and objectives. Our services encompass advocacy, education, research, and capacity building, empowering individuals and communities to shape sustainable solutions.
Committed to fostering effective partnerships and multi-sector collaboration, we actively seek opportunities for engagement. Registered on SAM.GOV, we can pursue government contracts as prime and sub-contractors.
Additionally, we actively seek partnerships with health systems, pharmaceutical companies, payers, and other community-based organizations (CBOs).
Together, we strive to create patient-driven healthcare solutions.
MISSION & VISION
MISSION
Our organization is dedicated to fostering effective partnerships to drive community-based solutions for advancing health equity. We believe in the power of collaboration, where diverse stakeholders come together with a shared vision and value to address the root causes of health disparities.
VISION
Our vision is a future where health equity is not just a goal, but a reality for every individual and community. We envision a world where effective partnerships flourish, bringing together diverse stakeholders with a shared commitment to addressing the root causes of health disparities
OUR JOURNEY
Founded in 2014, the Community Development Outreach and Training (CDOT) Foundation emerged with a profound dedication: to address the pressing social and health needs of vulnerable children. Witnessing the urgent call for support, CDOT swiftly mobilized its resources and expertise, initiating impactful programs aimed at nurturing the well-being of disadvantaged youth.
In 2020, recognizing the growing prevalence and complexities surrounding autism and special needs within communities, CDOT took a significant stride forward. The CDOT Autism Center was born, marking a pivotal expansion of our mission. With unwavering compassion and determination, we extended our reach to embrace fam
ilies affected by autism, providing comprehensive support and resources tailored to their unique circumstances.
As our journey unfolded, guided by our core values of empathy and inclusivity, CDOT embraced evolution. In alignment with our unwavering commitment to drive progress in healthcare equity, we embarked on a transformative rebranding initiative. This strategic evolution underscores our renewed focus on effective partnerships and community-based solutions.
Today, as the CDOT Foundation forges ahead, we stand poised at the forefront of change. We are steadfast in our resolve to serve as thought leaders, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to navigate the complexities of the evolving healthcare landscape. With a steadfast commitment to inclusivity and innovation, we strive to illuminate pathways to health equity, ensuring a brighter, more promising future for all.
